On March 2 and 3, VRCA will host an Electrical Estimating workshop. Participants will develop skills and knowledge to estimate electrical construction projects and prepare successful bids. The course is designed for those interested in becoming electrical estimators and for experienced construction workers who wish to improve their knowledge of electrical estimating.
To follow, on March 4, VRCA will host a one-day workshop on Electrical Blueprint Reading. Participants will learn how to read electrical construction blueprints, understand drawing specifications, and create general notes.
Using various samples of electrical blueprints, participants will gain experience and practical knowledge for their day-to-day work on construction projects. This workshop is intended for those who have little to no background in electrical blueprint reading.
