Looking for an overview on thermal bridging and how to assess thermal bridging based on new energy codes and standards? On Jan. 30, BC Housing is offering a seminar entitled Building Smart by Mitigating Thermal Bridging that will cover these topics.

This seminar will be available online or in-person at Brix Studio (102 – 211 Columbia St., Vancouver) and will discuss thermal bridging and the BETB Guide, specifically focused on the expanded thermal performance catalogue and recent updates to version 1.2. The course will also focus on the tools used to assess and build to this standard and how these resources can be used.

This course is approved by BC Housing as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course and is ideal for architects, energy modellers, developers, building envelope consultants, government officials, utilities representatives and mechanical designers who make use of building envelope performance data for designing new multi-unit residential, commercial and institutional buildings.
