As you may know, VRCA received a generous grant from the Real Estate Foundation of BC that allows us to engage a consultant to undertake an industry-wide educational needs assessment. RDH Building Science was awarded the contract to perform the needs assessment activities.
RDH has been collecting historical and current data from VRCA and across the province. They have reached the next major activity in the plan, which is to undertake a survey of VRCA members for their thoughts on current and future education trends.
The survey link was emailed to all members from Fiona Famulak on July 25.
If you have not already done so, please take 10 minutes to complete the survey and share your thoughts and opinions. You will be helping shape the future of construction education at VRCA!
To encourage participation, we are offering a prize draw for those who complete the survey. You can opt in to the contest at the end of the survey. Your name will not be linked to your survey answers. The prize is one registration to the Construction Leadership Forum in 2019!
In parallel with the survey, RDH is also reaching out to a short list of people to conduct phone interviews, asking in-depth questions about current and future education needs.
