The Connector has been redesigned from top to bottom in response to how the majority of readers are choosing to read VRCA’s weekly newsletter.

In the past year, we’ve seen a steady increase in the number of people accessing the Connector using their mobile devices – there are now more people reading the Connector on their iPhone than a desktop computer.

So, we’ve developed a new look featuring:

  • a mobile-friendly design that’s easier to read on smart phones;
  • re-ordered features to put the newest updates first; and
  • shorter items making it easier to scan and find the information that matters most.

The new design will allow mobile users to navigate the newsletter and linked items with their thumbs. There will be no need to zoom in and out to read text or click a button.

For companies advertising in the Connector, we’ve created new ad sizes and positions to increase exposure.

And this is just the beginning. We’ve got plans to introduce new story features in the coming weeks, starting with On Site with VRCA, which will showcase the projects and companies that are helping to change the region’s skyline.

The Connector will continue to be delivered to inboxes every Tuesday morning, helping members and prospective members stay up-to-date with industry news, events, programs and promotions offered by VRCA and its industry partners.
